Mr Raoul Le Blond

Mr Raoul Le Blond joined Hill & Knowlton in April 2006. As Head, Digital Practice, Mr Le Blond provides public relations counsel on opportunities and challenges in New Media to multinational and local companies.

He is currently part of the HP account team.

Mr Le Blond has been a journalist and editor in both print and Internet arenas since 1989, including stints at The Straits Times and The Straits Times Interactive . His work was aimed at helping business audiences, from C-Level executives to small business directors and entrepreneurs, come to grips with cost, implementation and other issues in enterprise and business technology.

His most recent role was as the Associate Publisher & Editor of SCM TechPlanet , a Weblog and information portal devoted to Asia 's supply chain professionals.

 Since 1999, he has held senior editor/ managerial roles in Singapore 's top business/technology press houses.

At Strategic Publishing (forerunner of Fairfax Business Media), he was a founding editor of Business Online magazine. At IDG Singapore, he served as editor for market-leading titles including CIO Asia , Computerworld Malaysia , SME IT Guide and IDG Online .  

He has also consulted to a variety of leading technology companies to design effective marketing and information strategies through custom print and Web projects, and industry events and conferences.

 Mr Le Blond has moderated and spoken at a variety of industry events including the Accenture CIO Workshop 2003 and Linuxworld Singapore 2005. He also helped develop the industry-recognised CIO 100 and CIO Awards programme – given to Asia 's five most innovative organisations each year by CIO Asia

He holds an honours degree in sociology from the National University of Singapore.
